Admitted Geek-Out (Burning Witch Bonus Art)
Check out what we who mail-ordered Crippled Lucifer (Seven Psalms For Our Lord Of Light) get to supplement our already fine purchase with. I've been waiting SOFA KING long for this to come out (Southern Lord had a back-order on an shirt I ordered, (back on 01.18.08) so I STILL don't have mine yet) and now that it is, they're making it sweeter and sweeter! Thank you SOMA and Southern Lord.

Our band is more '20 years ago' than your band...
It's gotten old guys, VERY old! No sooner has it started, then a fuck load of dumb-shits have to push it WAY too far. This whole "our-name-is-cheesy-but-that's-ok-cuz-we-sound-like-late-80's
-thrash-and-wear-spiked-gauntlets-and denim-jackets- and-play-flying v's- while-wearing-brand-new-Bonded by Blood-shirts" horse shit. Give it a fucking rest already for FUCK sake. You've NO IDEA how fucking ridiculous you look. I know it's fun to play dress up, but if you were SO into what the scene was 20 years ago, why the hell did you only recently start imitating it? It is literally 1988 all over again, except this time, your not copying The New Order riff-for-riff. Next thing you know everyone will be getting John Baizley to do their album covers...OOPS! I don't mean to pick on just Skeletonwitch, but good fucking god, between them and Warbringer...I've seen enough, and this whole trend just started too. Give me the guys who have been flying the banner all along. They are the ones who deserve 'hails'!

Düsseldo)))rk
If you have more money than sense, and you'd like to suppliment what is most likely already a bloated collection of crap, then perhaps you'd like to own the official SUNN 0))) Diaper for sale by some poor dip in Düsseldorf, Germany who actually bought it and is now trying to Ebay his way into the "I thought this was stupid to buy but will most definitely fetch some scratch from" category. GENIUS that he is, he states in the auction, CONDITION: UNUSED!!!!!!.

The Empire
From the movie Dark City, "The Information" was also on the Telepathic Last Words album. Course of Empire went above and beyond all music conventions and were one of my favorite bands. They were one of the last to encompass all the things I loved about Killing Joke and their aesthetic without being clones. I am fortunate to have all of there studio albums and I was present for their very last performance as a guest of my good friend Doni Blair. Course of Empire are sorely missed. Click on either of the pics to go to the official site. All albums are now available for free download. Go check it out give a listen! Check out the double drumming and massive sound.

The No-Longer-Missing Links
While I'm still on the subject of Torche (sorta), I've added two more links. One is Feral Pig/ The Aural & Visual Art of Aaron Turner. You may know him as the front man of Isis and Old Man Gloom (among many other projects) and as the owner of Hydra Head/Tortuga/2XHNI but what some of you may not know is, he's an accomplished and well-sought-after artist and designer. Check out his blog for a look at some of the art for the new Torche album Meanderthal. Another new link is the site of Mark Dawursk whom I have written about before. Mark's photography is damned fine and in checking out his blog, I've found a VERY kindred spirit.
